The Education and Prayer Ministries at Mount Hebron will function to meet the educational and intercessory needs of the church and the surrounding community.

Adult Literacy: Seeks to assist adult members in improving their reading skills.

Altar Bearers: Will assist in ministry around the altar and throughout the sanctuary as needed in response to ministry of laying on of hands and other moves of the Spirit.

GED: Will provide an ongoing opportunity for the congregation along with the community through tutoring to achieve a high school diploma.

Holy Spirit Prayer Band: To provide an atmosphere of prayer during the week to intercede on behalf of the church, community and the world.

Intercessory Prayer Chain: To function as a standby chain of prayer warriors to intercede on behalf of emergency needs within the church, community and the world.

Library: To provide and maintain a resource center of books and other reading material for all ages to encourage reading and self improvement.

Sunday School: To be responsible for the management of the Sunday School Program at Mt. Hebron. The chief aim is to establish a small group atmosphere of learning, for ages three through adult, to build up the Body, foster spiritually and relationally.
