Items to Bring
Infant:
· Two or three complete clearly labeled change of clothes (seasonal)
· Diapers – Please bring the type and quantity your child needs.  (Disposable diapers are used at the center for health purposes. Please bring one box of wipes each month.)
· Formula or Breast Milk – All Bottles must be clearly labeled with your child’s name or initials.  Bottles should be taken home each evening for proper cleaning.
· Whole milk will be provided by the center for all children not on formula or breast milk.
· Parents are responsible for providing baby food.
  · All soiled clothing should be taken home each evening for laundering.

Toddlers:
· A complete, clearly labeled change of clothes
· Diapers:  Please bring the style, size, and quantity your child needs.  Disposable diapers are used at the center for health purposes.  Please bring one box of wipes every month.
· We will assist you in potty training at 18 months.  When we begin working with your child, it is vitally important that you follow through with the training at home.  Pull-ups must be worn during this time. Pull-Ups must be supplied by the parent in the size and quantity needed for your child.  Children will need to go two weeks without accidents before wearing regular underwear.  Children must be potty trained and wearing underwear in order to be promoted to the three-year-old class.

Preschool:
· A complete, clearly labeled change of clothes
· A blanket for napping
· Sharing Day (show and tell) – A toy/special item may be brought on this day. Please do not bring toys from home except on sharing days.

Uniforms & Attire
Uniform Policy: (for Toddlers & Preschoolers)
Girls: Gold Polo shirts (with crest), navy dress pants, skorts, or jumpers
Boys: Gold Polo shirts (with crest), navy shorts or pants
Outerwear: Navy Blue Jackets or Sweaters
Shoes: Brown, black or navy blue

Nutrition
Since food and nutrition are important components of a child’s development, MHCCDC emphasizes a balance diet each day.  A monthly menu will be given to each parent.


Breakfast

6:30am – 8:00am

Lunch

11:30am – 12:00pm

Snack

2:00pm – 2:30pm

After School

 3:30pm – 4:15pm

 

 

 

Dismissal
Children must be signed out at the receptionist desk.  The receptionist will then allow you to go to the classroom to pick up your child.  Please notify the center in writing of any changes regarding your child being picked up by someone other than those listed on the child’s release form.

Daily Visits
Classroom visits are welcomed.  However, Director’s permission must be granted before entering the classroom.  Please feel free to contact the daycare office if information is needed regarding your child/children at (251) 456-8700.

Field Trips
All children are welcome to go on field trips with their class. Any child that does not attend their class field trip must find an alternate form of childcare for that day.
